Girlpower on Stage: Abstracted Mind + Between The Rats & Snakes
Girlpower on Stage brings two metal bands to Musicon in The Hague on Wednesday 2 December 2026: Abstracted Mind and Between The Rats & Snakes. Doors open at 19:30, show starts at 20:00.
Two acts, two completely different worlds. Abstracted Mind was formed in Argentina in 2020, initially releasing music in Spanish. After relocating to the Netherlands, the band switched to English and their sound began to evolve: progressive metal as the foundation, layered with cinematic orchestrations and an emotional intensity that elevates the whole. In September 2026, debut album 'Break Down Your Fears' was released, bringing together everything the band has built over the years.
Between The Rats & Snakes at Musicon in The Hague
Between The Rats & Snakes takes an entirely different approach. This trio presents themselves as an adventure party, complete with assigned roles: a Defender, a Fighter and a Healer. Their music reflects that concept, merging metal, EDM and Eastern elements within a pronounced JRPG theme. Heroes, villains and dark dungeons serve as the narrative thread, making their live performance something that goes beyond just music, it's a story brought to the stage.
Musicon as a venue for heavy metal in The Hague
Musicon is a regular fixture on The Hague's live music circuit for heavier sounds. The venue's intimate atmosphere suits bands that want to connect closely with their audience. Girlpower on Stage uses this stage to present two bands that each demonstrate, in their own way, just how broad and diverse metal as a genre can be.
