Grote Markt Spring Beer Festival
As a lover of delicious, expertly brewed craft beer, you’re no doubt looking forward to the Spring Beer Festival on the Grote Markt. Top brewers from all corners of the Netherlands will be manning the taps to share their finest, most exciting and most distinctive beers with you.
Tasting speciality beers
You can sample over 40 different beers. The whole experience is accompanied by delicious food and swinging vinyl records, courtesy of THE SHOP. In short: all the ingredients for a wonderful start to spring!

Pubs and restaurants on the Grote Markt
The Grote Markt is home to various bars and restaurants, including De Zwarte Ruiter, Hoender en Hop, September, Zèta, Boterwaag and Vavoom Tikiroom. In the summer, the square transforms into a large, bustling terrace. However, the Grote Markt offers more than just a pleasant place to eat and drink: in the Popdistrict, there are frequent free performances by bands and acts, particularly during the summer months.
Accessibility of Grote Markt
The Grote Markt can be reached both by public transport and by car. The Grote Markt can be reached by tram lines 2, 3, 4 and 6, bus line 25, and a 15-minute walk from Den Haag CS and HS train stations. The closest car parks are Parking Spui, Centrum and Turfmarkt.
