On 11 and 12 December, The Hague will be completely devoted to Jazz en Route – the free festival where soul and jazz come together in the most beautiful locations in the city centre.

Soul & Jazz in the heart of The Hague

During Jazz en Route, The Hague’s historic city centre is transformed into a vibrant music venue. Around the Noordeinde and the Lange Voorhout, you can enjoy live jazz, soul and funk at unique venues across the city. National and international artists perform intimate concerts in atmospheric hotels, galleries, cafés and historic buildings.

Programme

During Jazz en Route, you can enjoy a varied programme featuring national and international artists. Let yourself be swept away by the Afro-Cuban rhythms of trumpeter Carlos Sarduy during Afro Cuban Night and enjoy the warm soul sounds of Jainda. At the stylish Hotel Des Indes, the Graziella Hunsel Allstars will put on a special performance, whilst Nina Yip-Simone will be performing during the Garuda Dinner Show. Martijn van Iterson ft. Joep Grotendorst, Leonard Luka and Olivia Fay are also on the programme. The evening will draw to a soulful close with A Tribute to D’Angelo.
