L.A. Sagne
Music as something to hold on to: Amsterdam punk band L.A. Sagne takes the stage in the Kleine Zaal at PAARD in The Hague for an evening of hard punk. Supports Babe Haven and Latter complete the line-up.
L.A. Sagne grew out of shared kitchen tables, side jobs and sweaty gigs. The Amsterdam band started with four friends and a stack of demos on a struggling computer at the edge of the city. Now they've made their mark with debut album 'Good Company', released via label Geertruida, proving that punk can be about community, love and connection without losing its edge.
Babe Haven and Latter in The Hague
Support act Babe Haven travels from Boone, North Carolina. The queer punk band, founded by Lillie Della Penna and Naomi Poesel, blends riot grrrl, nu-metal and punk into uncompromising songs about empowerment and inclusivity. They've shared stages with Mannequin Pussy, Otoboke Beaver and Pinkshift, and played festivals like Punk Rock Bowling and L7's Fast and Frightening Takeover. Their second album 'Nuisance' further cemented their reputation on the international punk scene. The second support is Latter, a noise rock project founded in Chicago in 2022 by sound artist Meredith Haines.
