Music show Nashville's Country Café comes to Rijswijkse Schouwburg on Wednesday 14 October 2026. Wim van de Vliert and American vocalist Jordyn Mallory guide the audience through the rich history of country, joined by top artists from Nashville and the Netherlands.

Country has a richer palette than many people realise, and Nashville's Country Café captures all of it in a single evening. From the twang of classic Nashville to the modern sounds of Lainey Wilson and Post Malone, from traditional pop-country to multicultural influences that push the genre's boundaries. Producer Leon Priest built a show that brings all those layers together, with the musical partnership between two extraordinary voices at its heart.

Wim van de Vliert is widely regarded as the Netherlands' finest country singer, and he shares the stage with American Jordyn Mallory, who has performed alongside Dolly Parton and opened for artists including Loretta Lynn and Luke Combs. A band that has backed international names, plus several top artists from Nashville and the Netherlands, complete the line-up.

Classics and original work

The setlist mixes iconic songs by Brooks & Dunn, Keith Urban, Lady A and Chris Stapleton with tracks from the new generation: Ashley Cooke, Ella Langley and others currently topping the country charts. Original material also features prominently, because the makers deliberately avoided building a tribute show. That blend of reverence for the past and a contemporary signature is what makes Nashville's Country Café its own thing: authentic and deeply felt, but never dusty.
