Ooievaart -Christmas cruise
In the week before Christmas, you can enjoy the one and only winter evening Christmas cruises through the canals of The Hague. After a reception under the Christmas tree in the attractively decorated harbor office with chocolate milk and mulled wine, we leave on the winter evenings for a unique Christmas cruise. On the open boat we make a short trip with winter stories, beautiful poems and fun anecdotes. The yellow is musically framed by Serge Bosman.
After 45 minutes of sailing, the fogged glasses can be polished at restaurant DaLina, on the Noordeinde. Here you can enjoy a bowl of pea soup with rye bread and bacon.
You can then choose whether you want to sail back to the Bierkade or whether you want to continue your own program from the Noordeinde.

7:00 pm – 9:00 pm (you are welcome in the Port Office from 6:30 pm for a glass of Glûhwein).
Due to the bridge heights, De Ooievaart sails with open boats. In case of rain, ponchos are available on the tour boats. In addition, it is not possible to take wheelchairs, prams and rollators on board. These can be parked at the harbor office on the Bierkade.
The boat trips depart from Bierkade 18b in the center of The Hague. This themed cruise starts at 7 p.m. and lasts 2 hours.
It is recommended, especially on weekends and in good weather, to book in advance for the boat trip. Tickets can be purchased via the website of De Ooievaart, by telephone on 070-4451869 and at the counter of The Hague Info Store.
De Ooievaart is located in the center of The Hague on the Bierkade near the Spui. The boarding point is at the harbor office. The boarding point is a five-minute walk from The Hague Hollands Spoor Station and ten minutes from Central Station. In addition, several trams and buses stop nearby. The Ooievaart is also easily accessible by car. However, it is smarter and cheaper to park your car in a parking garage nearby, for example on the Veerkade.
