Tair Uria - There is a leakage and it cannot find me
11 Jul - 4 Aug
Discover There is a leakage and it cannot find me, an exhibition by Tair Uria. Through sculpture, video, drawings and kinetic assemblages, she explores identity and change.
In There is a leakage and it cannot find me, Tair Uria explores how identity is constantly changing. The exhibition shows how the body, memories and experiences are interconnected, and how the boundary between the inner and outer worlds can become blurred.
What’s on?
The exhibition comprises sculpture, video, drawings and kinetic assemblages. In her work, Tair Uria uses fragile installations and moving elements that raise questions about identity, control and change.
A recurring motif is the female crocodile-like figure. This appears as a body that is constantly in motion and continues to evolve.
