Programme July–September 2025

From July through September, Willemsvaart is organising various themed boat tours through The Hague. Enjoy music, culture and stories during a trip along The Hague’s canals. There will be Yiddish cruises, cabaret cruises, Indies-themed cruises and special children's programmes.

In July and August, there are also ParadeVaartjes to the theatre festival De Parade. In addition, in August you can join the Art Nouvaartjes with walking tours along Art Nouveau buildings, and in September there will be special tours during Open Monument Day and Prinsjesdag.

ParadeVaartjes (4–20 July)

• Weekends and Wednesdays: first departure at 13:00
• Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: first departure at 14:30
• Further departures: 16:00, 17:30 and 19:00
• 4 July: single departure at 17:15
• Return trips by arrangement; last boat departs half an hour after De Parade closes
• Price one-way €4.50, return €8.00

Children’s ParadeVaartjes (5–20 July)

• Daily departure at 13:00
• Children up to 14 years €0.50
• Parents/guardians €2.50

Oranje- and Prinsjesvaarten (16 July–3 August)

• Boat trips and walks along Art Nouveau and eclectic architecture

Little Italy – boating and dining

This programme includes a one-hour cruise through The Hague’s canals, departing from the landing near the Hilton. After the boat trip, you’ll enjoy a main course at an Italian restaurant on Noordeinde. The dinner concludes with your chosen cannoli.

• 17:30–18:30: boat tour from Hilton through The Hague’s canals
• From 18:30: dinner at an Italian restaurant on Noordeinde

• Boat trip for children up to 11 years: €5.00 p.c.
• Boat trip from 12 years and up: €12.50 p.p.
• Dinner and dessert: price in consultation with the chosen restaurant

Prefer a covered boat?

Book a cruise with the Salonboot. Every Wednesday through Sunday there is a departure at 20:00 with the (covered) 1925 Salonboot.

• Starter on board, followed by shared dining at restaurant Kaai 13 (Dunne Bierkade)
• Minimum of 4 people, maximum of 8 participants
