New Year's Countdown Hofvijver

The Hague welcomes 2025 with a spectacular fireworks-free New Year's Eve on the iconic Hofvijver. This year is all about lights, lasers and live entertainment full of Hague pride, ushering in the new year in a unique and atmospheric way.

From 22:00 until 1:00, enjoy a line-up full of local heroes:

• Emmaly Brown - The powerhouse singer from Scheveningen!
• Dario Goldbach - Writer and columnist with a sharp view on culture and the vibrant nightlife of The Hague.
• Dymphi Peeters - A special addition with her enchanting operatic voice, who transforms the Hofvijver into a magical place.
• Mispoes, dancers and entertainers known for their dazzling performances in Paard and other Hague hotspots.
• DJ Bou & Youri - The men behind the turntables provide uplifting beats that no one can stand still.
• Presentation by Pat Smith - Hague favourite Pat Smith leads the evening full of charm and energy.

Countdown to 2025 together

At midnight, the climax erupts! Led by mayor Jan van Zanen, The Hague counts down to the new year together. This year, fireworks give way to a breathtaking light and laser show over the Hofvijver - an enchanting spectacle you don't want to miss.
