Platonic Smile
Platonic Smile celebrates their debut EP 'we're friends, no?' on 9 December 2026 with live indie rock and jangle pop at Musicon in The Hague.
Platonic Smile plays guitar music that sits somewhere between carefree indie rock and dreamy jangle pop. Their songs draw from everyday situations, pent-up feelings and the friction of friendship and self-doubt. It can sound light one moment and raw the next, but always genuine.
Platonic Smile in The Hague: debut EP live
With 'we're friends, no?', the band releases their first fully self-produced record. The EP captures the complicated reality of relationships and the search for authenticity, building on earlier singles Talk To Me, Albert Nein, There, I Said It and P(r)etty Smile. After appearances at Sniester, Haagse Popweek and Waterpop, Musicon is next.
From sing-alongs to mosh pit
Live, Platonic Smile is a band that thrives on contrast. A set can open with an indie pop track that gets you moving, then shift into something rawer that fills the room with energy. That unpredictability is exactly what makes their shows worth catching. Doors open at 20:00, show starts at 20:30.
