Onda is a unique restaurant in The Hague, inspired by Japanese jazz kissa – cafés where listening to vinyl records takes centre stage. Here, it's all about refined comfort food, natural wine and a unique musical atmosphere.

Music plays a key role at Onda. The restaurant has been specially designed to provide an optimal listening experience. All photographs are by Alex Heuvink.
Menu
The menu follows the seasons and offers Mediterranean dishes that are perfect for sharing. Everything is accessible and prepared with care. The extensive wine list consists entirely of natural wines, carefully selected by co-owner and host Juan Trentadue. Cocktail enthusiasts will also find something to their liking with a creative menu from bartender Jonathan "Jono" van Lamoen.
Music plays a leading role at Onda
The restaurant has been specially designed to provide an optimal listening experience. With sound equipment from McIntosh and speakers from Sonus Faber, Onda welcomes DJs and vinyl collectors every weekend to play their records for guests.
The sunniest terrace boat on the Avenue Culinaire
Onda is located on Groenewegje, just outside the busy city centre and one canal away from Dunne Bierkade, known as the Avenue Culinaire. Tip for terrace lovers: because Onda is located on the south-east side of the canal, you can enjoy the sun a little longer on their terrace boat than on the other boats. Ideal for long summer evenings full of sunshine, special flavours and music.
