Halloween parties in The Hague

• PIP The Hague and Halloween are a legendary combination. The party takes place over two days, on Friday 30 October and Saturday 31 October. Expect two nights of Halloween celebrations.
• Halloween at the Boterwaag has become an annual tradition. On 31 October, it returns with a Halloween XXL edition spread across seven venues at Grote Markt: Vavoom, Zèta, Zwarte Ruiter, September, Hoender en Hop, Boterwaag and Pizza FM. Expect spooky decorations, a face-painting bar and plenty of familiar Halloween hits.
• On Thursday 29 October 2026, Picasso Halloween Party The Purge takes over PAARD with a Halloween party in three rooms, each with its own atmosphere. Expect an evening filled with music and costumes throughout the venue.
• Kreukelzone Halloween Edition takes place on 31 October at Musicon The Hague. This special Halloween edition features four acts for a dark night of live music: Electric Eel Shock, De Stekkers, Motel and Warme Moeder.
• On 31 October, Scheveningen Cover Night combines live music and Halloween at Podium aan Zee in Scheveningen. Expect an evening of covers, atmosphere and a healthy dose of spookiness on the coast of The Hague.

Halloween in The Hague’s neighbourhoods 

Every year, various neighbourhoods in The Hague host Halloween activities. Check the website of your local neighbourhood for the latest information.

• The Halloween Kids Fair XXL takes place on Leyweg. This special Halloween edition of the The Hague Fair runs from Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November 2026.
• Halloween in Belgisch Park: on Saturday 31 October 2026, Belgisch Park celebrates Halloween. From 12 noon, children can dress up and visit participating shops in Stevinstraat and Gentsestraat. Along the way, they can collect sweets and take part in various spooky activities. A fun Halloween afternoon for families with young children in the neighbourhood.
• Halloween treasure hunt in Theresiastraat: on Saturday 31 October 2026, children can take part in a treasure hunt through Theresiastraat between 11 am and 5 pm. Look for hidden letters and numbers in shop windows and help Tante Theresia find the pumpkins and solve the mystery. Children can also go trick-or-treating at participating shops. These shops can be recognised by special Halloween stickers on their doors or windows.

Other Halloween activities in The Hague

• Dare to climb The Hague Tower during Halloween? On 30 and 31 October 2026, the tower opens after regular closing hours for an exclusive Halloween evening tour in the dark.
• Celebrate Halloween at Pathé Scheveningen and Pathé Spuimarkt with a selection of Halloween-themed films.
• The Flora building can be quite spooky, especially after watching a horror film. During Florror, a selection of films is screened throughout October. From horror classics to campy witch films and everything in between.
• Families with children can celebrate Halloween at Drievliet during the annual Duistere Dagen. This year, the Griezelbus opens its doors again after twenty years as part of Piraat Smikkelbuik’s Trick or Treat mission, with challenges, clues and treats throughout the park.
• Experience autumn at Madurodam. Don’t let the rain stop you from playing, exploring and enjoying some spooky fun together. A world of exciting attractions and activities awaits. There is adventure around every corner, with plenty of family-friendly activities for children.
• Mix magic with mixology during the interactive cocktail workshop at Elixer Room, where Potions Masters guide you through making mysterious drinks in an atmospheric setting.
• Discover the dark and sometimes bloody history of The Hague during the horror walk by Little Walk of Horrors. You can take this walk at your own pace and discover a different side of The Hague city centre.
• Let your imagination run free during Dungeons & Dragons Night, or play one of the many other board games at the magical games café Spells and Potions on Denneweg.

• Step into the chilling and enchanting darkness of Halloween City Zoetermeer. On Friday 30 October 2026, Zoetermeer transforms into a Halloween capital. Take on the Halloween Walk through eight different scare zones or choose a child-friendly trick-or-treat route. From a spooky haunted house to enchanting shows, there is something for everyone.
• Halloween in Huygenskwartier Voorburg: get ready for some spooky fun. On 31 October 2026, witches transform the usually picturesque Huygenskwartier into a monstrous Halloween celebration for children of all ages.
