48GMDH Analog Photo Contest
During the 48GMDH Analog Photo Contest, participants shoot on analogue film based on a surprise theme. Selected photographs will be exhibited, and the winner will be announced at the exhibition opening.
Analogue photography competition in The Hague
The 48GMDH Analog Photo Contest is a photography competition organised by The Negative Society, in collaboration with Grote Markt Den Haag and Analog Film Lab by Foto Americaine. Participants receive a roll of film and a surprise theme, with 48 hours to take their photographs.
The competition starts on Friday 30 October 2026 at Analog Film Lab by Foto Americaine on Paviljoensgracht. Participants collect their film and discover the theme. Film rolls must be returned to Foto Americaine by 12:00 noon on Monday 2 November.
Winner announcement and exhibition at the Grote Markt in The Hague
After development, the photographs will be reviewed and selected for an exhibition. The exhibition opens on Saturday 14 November 2026 at ZETA on Grote Markt in The Hague. The winner of the photography competition will also be announced that evening.
