Dune Sessions
Dune Sessions is a monthly jazz jam session at GR8 of PAARD in The Hague. Every third Thursday of the month, GR8 opens its doors to musicians and enthusiasts who come together to play, meet and experiment. On 15 October 2026, Jermaine Berkhoudt hosts the evening.
Dune Sessions was built around a straightforward idea: create a space where musicians do more than perform, they actually connect. PAARD, the Royal Conservatoire The Hague and OSHI joined forces to make it happen. OSHI focuses on talent development within R&B, soul and jazz, bringing driven musicians together with creative professionals. That collaboration shapes the atmosphere of the evenings: welcoming and accessible, yet musically serious.
Jermaine Berkhoudt as host in GR8
On 15 October 2026, Jermaine Berkhoudt hosts the evening. His background spans several chapters: as a young rapper on The Hague's indie hip-hop label VanIeder1, then as frontman of Funky Organizers, a band that toured through France and performed at major Dutch festivals. Today he works as an MC, sound designer and actor. His hands-on experience with live music makes him a natural anchor for an evening like this. The other musicians will be announced closer to the date.
