No separate DJ sets, no hard transitions. Starving Billionaires works as one continuous musical movement: from hip hop, afro and amapiano through trap and electronic music into ritualistic psytech, hypnotic tribal techno and jungle. As the sound shifts, so does the energy of the room.
The lineup brings upcoming artists together with established names and connects their audiences. Behind that approach is a concrete idea: repeating patterns can create a hypnotic pull before anyone has had time to think about it. That principle echoes in ceremonial rhythm practices across cultures, from Mali to Hungary.
Ritual and rhythm at Grey Space in the Middle
The set design translates that idea into the space: masks, hanging sculptures, projections overhead and an earth-textured floor. The design is not a backdrop but part of the atmosphere the night builds. Ultimately, everything comes back to the music and the people it brings together.
About 2MK and Sterea
2MK, also known as Leon Malnay, is a Hungarian producer and rapper based in The Hague. His sound combines electronic music, hip hop and trap, with a dark and experimental edge. Visually and conceptually he draws inspiration from the Hungarian Busójárás and the cultural traditions of the Dogon and Luluwa. Sterea is a Hungarian DJ, producer and creative technologist.
