Renovation boulevard Scheveningen

Scheveningen a unique boulevard that runs from Zwarte Pad to Havenhoofd. It has been an extraordinary place by the sea for over 200 years. The central part of the boulevard will be renovated in the near future. The municipality of The Hague and Heijmans are renovating the part between De Pier and Museum Beelden aan Zee. There will be a new layout with a central square of natural stone directly in front of the Kurhaus, leading to a large staircase directly to the sand. The stairs will be located where the Wandelhoofd (the first Pier) used to be. The boulevard will be much wider in front of LEGOLAND and SEA LIFE. There will be better sea views from the promenade, more greenery and all kinds of applications for innovation. New ramps will make the boulevard and the beach accessible to everyone. Work on the boulevard will last until the summer of 2025. You can just stroll (walk) along the boulevard from north to south and of course the beach bars (from March) will be open as usual. Two special walkways and ramps next to De Pier and at Beelden aan Zee make the beach easily accessible for everyone. Come and just enjoy the fresh sea air, a freshly fried fish or the sunset. Enjoy being outside on the beach or your favourite terrace, catch a wave or dive into the sea. Find the fun and conviviality of the nightlife. The calendar is packed 365 days. During the renovation, there are regular extraordinary extra activities. Will you come and enjoy the resort extraordinarily during the renovation?
