Going into Regentessekwartier? Then make your entrance along Regentesselaan. Whatever season you stroll along this avenue, it is beautiful here every moment of the year. This entire district is part of The Hague's protected cityscape and is a nice mix of cute shops, cosy restaurants and beautiful houses. Regentesseplein is the epicentre of this neighbourhood.

One of the nicest cafés in Regentessekwartier: café Emma. Whether you come here for a cup of coffee and reading the newspaper or a bite to eat with a drink: the door is always open for you at this living room of the neighbourhood.

Café Franklin - Valkenbosplein 24

A wide selection of beers, a menu that makes your stomach growl and a terrace in the sun: that is what you can expect when you sit down at Café Franklin. Sounds cosy, right? Fun fact: one of the owners is also working on a new establishment in Regentessekwartier called Bar Bowie. Here, wine rather than beer reigns supreme. To be continued!

Regentessekwartier is in full swing. On one corner of Weimarstraat you will find another new creative boutique, while on Beeklaan another new catering establishment has opened. That makes this stunningly beautiful neighbourhood lively. And all this within a stone's throw from the city centre of The Hague. You can see that dynamism in the monumental houses. They range from stately mansion-sized to cosy and tiny, and everything in between. Shops, restaurants, sports, culture and architecture: Regentessekwartier has it all.
