Military musical fest

Following the Prinsjesdag General Rehearsal, a special musical show will take place on the Lange Voorhout on Sunday 15 September. Three traditional military music corps will perform here:

• the Traditional Hunting Horn Corps of the Garde Jagers
• the Traditional Tambourine Corps Garde Grenadiers
• the Voluntary Fanfare Corps of the Corps of Engineers.

The corps will take turns giving a performance, culminating in a joint finale in which Jacques Devogel's Bolero Militaire will be performed.

The overall direction is in the hands of Ruud Böhmer, who was tambour-maître and bandmaster of the Royal Air Force Band for more than 30 years.
