Of Feather and Bone performing live on a dark stage at a death metal concert

On Wednesday 26 August 2026, Musicon in The Hague hosts a night of death metal featuring two well-established names from the international underground: Of Feather and Bone and Civerous.

Of Feather and Bone hails from Denver, Colorado, and plays death metal without any frills. The trio prioritises impact over complexity: unpredictable blasting, stripped-back arrangements, and a rawer, more barbaric sound than many of their peers. Years of relentless touring across North America, Mexico and Europe have shaped them into a live act that delivers. Two albums on the respected Profound Lore Records are behind them; a new record is due in 2026, followed by an extensive European tour.

Civerous in The Hague: from death doom to their own sound

Civerous started in 2019 as a duo with a demo and a split release, but grew steadily. The debut album Decrepit Flesh Relic, recorded during the pandemic, marked a significant step forward. The band performed at the renowned Total Death Over Mexico festival and was subsequently signed to 20 Buck Spin, one of the most respected labels in the genre. The second album Maze Envy, co-written by the expanded line-up including Drew Horton and Aidan Neuner, shows how far the band has come from their chainsaw guitars and 50 bpm riffs beginnings.

Musicon The Hague as a home for underground metal

Musicon has long been a go-to venue for metal and underground music in The Hague. The intimate atmosphere suits the kind of shows that Of Feather and Bone and Civerous put on: no elaborate light shows, just a direct confrontation with the music. For anyone already at home in the world of death metal, doom and everything in between, this is a night worth showing up for.
