The Delphine Trio and British Music Festival Holland are proud to present a programme of British music written between 1913 and 2023.
The concert on 16 June 2024 includes three works for clarinet trio of very different kinds: romantic, impressionistic music by John Ireland, the world premiere of an evocative trio by celebrated composer-violinist Simon Rowland Jones, and Kenneth Leighton's deeply spiritual "Fantasy on an American Hymn Tune", which incorporates various contemporary styles, including jazz. The latter appears on the Trio's debut album "Adrift", released earlier in 2024 by the TRPTK label.
