Cecilia International Choir of The Hague - 50 Year Celebration "All Awaits"
50 years of singing – 50 years of friendship: The concert will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the choir with a selection of British music, some with international influences, reflecting the evolution from The British Choir to The Cecilia International Choir of The Hague with members from many different countries. Our concert title “All Awaits” beautifully encapsulates a moment of transition—bridging the legacy of the past with the limitless potential of what lies ahead.
The programme includes works by Sir John Rutter, who is internationally renowned for his melodic choral works; Ralph Vaughan Williams, a quintessentially English composer; Herbert Howells, Gerald Finzi and Charles Villiers Stanford. Conducted by Sanda Audere, the choir will be accompanied by the RBO Sinfonia and organist Bert Mooiman.
