I’m So Bored I Could Die
16 Mar - 18 Mar
Workshops
I’m So Bored I Could Die is a two-day workshop led by artists Ingeborg Kraft Fermin and Lou Vives. In these workshops, both from 17:00 to 20:00, Kraft Fermin and Vives will explore the mash-up as an artistic methodology. In this workshop participants will experiment with how different contexts, settings, and formats transform meaning, from spoken word and stand-up comedy to performative lectures and infinite scrolls (sometimes simultaneously). Where do Art, Content, and Entertainment overlap, and what ultimately distinguishes them? Why does it matter to understand the tools we use as image-makers today?
Through shared discussion, a presentation of artists and references who inspire Kraft Fermin’s and Vives’ practices, and short performative exercises, participants will be invited to experiment with their own interests and desires. There will be an optional opportunity to present works in progress on March 18 at The Grey Space.
