International Christmas stall exhibition
St Paschalis Baylon Church proudly presents the International Christmas Crib Exhibition, an annual tradition that attracts visitors from inside and outside The Hague.
A world of nativity scenes
With more than 100 nativity scenes from around the world, the exhibition offers a unique glimpse of the Christmas story, represented in various styles and crafts. From classic Dutch nativity scenes to extraordinary specimens from Mexico, Poland and Malawi - each piece tells its own story. One of the highlights this year is the elaborate Neapolitan Christmas scene, which paints a vivid picture of the traditional Christmas story with its rich details and scenes. Each piece shows craftsmanship and imagination, allowing visitors to briefly dream away in the world of the Christmas story.
The exhibition is suitable for young and old alike. Children can discover the Christmas story with a special colouring page.
An important part of this collection is thanks to Brother Frans Wils, who collected nativity scenes with great care and dedication for many years. Through his donation to the parish, his cribs remain accessible to all with this annual exhibition.
Practical information
The exhibition can be visited from 15 December to 4 January, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 2pm and 5pm. The exhibition will also be open on Boxing Day, while Christmas Day will remain closed. Admission is free, with a contribution of your own choice.
