Kirsty Baker - BASELINE BABBLING
Welcome to BASELINE BABBLING, a tea party like no other. A tea party for one woman - and yet you are all invited. Or rather: needed. In this intimate, chaotic, and heartwarming performance, Kirsty Baker takes you into a world of songs, dance moves and uninhibited talk. With a microphone as her ally, she celebrates the magic of togetherness: here and now, in the same room, where discomfort and joy go hand in hand. Prepare for an evening full of spontaneous energy, stimulating questions and the beauty of the moment.
Songs, dance moves and frank chats about coming together in the here and now
Spontaneity, sincerity, occasional chaos, a huge amount of fun and a good cup of tea guide Kirsty Baker and the audience through BASELINE BABBLING as they feel how fundamentally they need each other and how good it can feel to be yourself unconditionally. About Kirsty Baker Kirsty Baker was born and raised in France in an ‘oh so’ British family of entertainers. Her first attempts on stage were as a toddler when she ended up in her parents' musical shows and later asked if she could play the violin. Experimentation with theatre and music continued into her early adulthood when she immersed herself in contemporary dance and joined a site-specific theatre collective in Bordeaux (FR). All this led her to the Mime School in Amsterdam (NL) where she graduated in 2023. She now works as a solo artist and for various theatre and mime companies in the Netherlands.
