About the performance

Join Welsh musician Lauren Francis and German musician Franz Garlik on a magical journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Norway, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Inspired by the sounds of the Netflix series Outlander, Vikings and The Last Kingdom, the musicians take you to a mystical world full of Celtic legends, Nordic melodies and visual magic. An unforgettable experience for all the senses.

Interplay of music and video

With a deep love for the music from the Netflix series Outlander, Vikings and The Last Kingdom, the artists take you on a journey through the breathtaking Norwegian fjords, where the spirits of Ragnar and Lagertha seem to linger. Like the first Vikings, we then land in England on Holy Island, near Uhtred's beloved Bebbanburg. A journey through time takes you to Scotland, Ireland and Wales, to the film locations of Outlander and to the source of fascinating Celtic legends. With these ancient Celtic melodies, modern Nordic pop songs and specially designed projections, Lauren Francis opens the curtain to a mystical world. In the language of her ancestors and with an enchanting voice, the Welsh singer sings and tells stories that capture these historic times. Franz Garlik's magical soundscape creates a visual and acoustic experience that will stay with you for a long time to come.

Award-winning artists

Among many other awards, the two singers received the "Voice of the Year" award in Switzerland. During their extensive tours, mainly through German-speaking countries, they enchant large audiences. Lauren Francis, the award-winning and beloved singer, is praised for both her Celtic and classical voice. Her ability to combine these different timbres in a single song is what makes her so unique. She trained at two leading conservatories in London and has sung roles such as "The Queen of the Night" and "La Traviata" in many European theatres, including the Deutsche Oper am Rhein. As a crossover sound artist, her distinctive style is particularly evident in her musical diversity and enchanting emotional depth. Her voice is familiar from television and she has been in the charts several times. Franz Garlik played a key role in many productions with his musical and artistic vision, both as a director and musical director, for example at the Clingenburg Festival, and as a performing musician at the Staatstheater Gärtnerplatz in Munich and the Landestheater Innsbruck. His voice was in demand because of his inimitable high notes and versatility. The musician, who holds two degrees, has a background in bands and orchestras. As a pianist, trumpeter and singer, he has shaped the sound of many ensembles, travelled to many countries and can be heard on countless albums.
