Strandrugby jeugd in actie tijdens North Sea Rugby

Are you ready for the ultimate Beach Rugby experience?

North Sea Beach Rugby is a multi-day national and international beach rugby event held in The Hague on 27 and 28 June. It is played at the unique The Hague Beach Stadium on Scheveningen beach.

Programme Beach Rugby

North Sea Beach Rugby is a major rugby event and the perfect combination of top-level sport and recreational sport. It is played by national and international teams for, among others, the EBRA Series and the official Dutch Championship.

North Sea Beach Rugby is co-organiser of the Mix-Disabilities Games and an event for the Harde School / Turnover at The Hague Beach Stadium. Beach Rugby matches are played according to the rules of Beach Fives Rugby, in which the 2-second rule is extremely important for the speed of the game. Beach Fives Rugby is recognised as an official sport by World Rugby and Rugby Europe.

The Beach Rugby Summer programme is more than just Beach Rugby for top-level and recreational sports: there is plenty of time to relax and enjoy good food and drinks on the beach. The food trucks serve delicious burgers, churros and much more. There are also various dishes for vegetarians. Next to the food trucks, you will find a bar with an extensive selection of hot and cold drinks. And, of course, great music on Saturday and Sunday.
