The Hague Children’s Music Day

Discover and try all kinds of musical instruments in the music market during the instrument garden and workshops, enjoy all kinds of performances and get acquainted with the many music schools, music teachers, youth orchestras and associations from the region of The Hague during the information market. This musical afternoon will be opened by Alderman for Education & Youth Hilbert Bredemeijer. The Hague Children’s Music Day is free of entrance and is part of the national Children’s Music Week.

Program Music Market
Around the performances, children can try out all kinds of instruments and follow Drum, DJ & Rap Workshops. In addition, various music schools, music teachers, youth orchestras and music associations from the region of The Hague will be present at the information market to provide visitors with information.

Children’s Music Week
The Hague Children’s Music Day is part of the national Children’s Music Week. This is an initiative of 14 major Dutch music sector organizations that have joined forces to realize a 10-day Children’s Music Week every year. As the Children’s Music Week Foundation, we want to let all children from the Netherlands from 0 to 12 years of age enjoy making and listening to (live) music for 10 days every year.

30 Years: City Hall The Hague x Atrium City Hall
In 2025 it will be 30 years since the City Hall opened at Spui 70 and in that same year the Atrium City Hall Foundation was established. The year 2025 will therefore be all about 30 Years: City Hall The Hague x Atrium City Hall.

With a great diversity of exhibitions and events it will be a special year, such as The Hague Children’s Music Day, The Hague Freedom Meal ,the artwork Jan van Goyen!
