Experience a moving concert where music, reflection and hope come together at Rituals of Resistance & Peace in the German Church in The Hague. This unique programme focuses on the power of the human voice as a symbol of resistance, comfort and the longing for peace in a world full of conflict and uncertainty.

A unique classical concert about hope, resistance and peace

The concert features music spanning five centuries of classical music history. From the contemplative compositions of Monteverdi and Palestrina to the intense and expressive works of Dallapiccola, Stanford, De Leeuw, Lo Pinto and Manneke. Together, these compositions form a musical journey exploring themes such as courage, solidarity, spirituality and human resilience.

Rituals of Resistance & Peace offers space for reflection and demonstrates how music can unite people in times of tension and change. Through rituals, choral music and contemporary classical compositions, a unique concert experience is created in which silence, emotion and hope come together.
