Glide down the tube slide in Kijkduin at full speed and enjoy a wonderful dose of winter fun by the sea! Whether you come with family, friends or colleagues, this unique winter activity is fun for young and old alike. The slide is festively decorated with twinkling lights, Christmas trees and winter decorations, making it feel like you've landed in the middle of a Christmas village by the sea.

Around the track, you will find cosy Christmas huts offering tasty winter snacks, hot drinks and fun products. Local entrepreneurs also provide special winter packages, ideal for a fun-filled day out.

But the tube run is more than just fun. It is a place where meeting, exercise and connection are central. Residents, entrepreneurs and social organisations come together here. Young people have a great place to be active and the whole neighbourhood is buzzing with life and atmosphere during the winter months in Kijkduin.

Opening hours of the tube slide & Christmas huts

The tube slide will be operational from 13 to 21 December 2025 and will be professionally staffed.

The Christmas huts will also be open during these times.

• Weekdays: 12:00 noon – 6:00 p.m.
• Weekends: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Free admission for schools in Loosduinen

The tube slide is free of charge for primary and secondary schools in Loosduinen. Visits are possible by reservation. Teachers and school administrators can inquire about the possibilities.

Access for other visitors

Other visitors will receive a free token when purchasing a package deal at a shop or catering establishment in Nieuw Kijkduin. The package deals will be announced next week. The tokens will be available from participating businesses from 8 December.
