Cirque Mania #18
The festival Cirque Mania shows that circus is growing and blossoming. Allow yourself to be surprised by all that this four day festival has to offer. Because circus is by and for everyone who doesn't want to put themselves in a box. Unless that's your act of course.
This edition is all about female makers: a weekend full of shows created and performed by female circusmakers. In a lot of fields, the male to female ratio is disbalanced and in the circus world that’s no difference. Eventhough there are a lot of female performers, there is a disbalance when looking at circus artists that create. With this female edition of Cirque Mania we aim to create space for female circus creators and their work.
In March 2016 Korzo hosted the very first Cirque Mania weekend, with which we wished to create a place for the emerging developments in ‘New Circus’. Currently there are many such festivals and weekends throughout the country and circus has become a familiar part of Korzo and The Hague.

Cirque Dinner
During Cirque Mania, you can enjoy dinner at the Korzo Club on Friday and Saturday. For just €17.50, you get a plate full of (vegetarian) food and a drink.
