A stone's throw from The Hague city centre, you'll find the Binckhorst: shrouded with plenty of young, creative, small large and unusual businesses. Experience the urban feel here! In recent years, the Binckhorst (Binck) has developed into a hotspot for street art and other creative expressions. It is therefore the place to spot street art.
There is no shortage of creativity anyway: many old buildings have been transformed into creative work environments and other new businesses are setting up shop in the neighbourhood. This creates a unique mix of old and new. The Caballero factory, once a well-known cigarette factory in The Hague, is now a creative work environment. The Victory Boogie Woogie tunnel makes it easy for traffic from Delft, Rotterdam and Ypenburg to drive to and from the Binckhorst. From the centre of The Hague or from The Hague Laan van Noi station, grab the shared bike (or scooter) and you'll be in this district in ten minutes.

The popular steak restaurant Loetje has opened yet another location besides an atmospheric one on the Haagse Bluf. Kompaan is a true brewery from The Hague with bar cum tasting room in the Binckhorsthaven. At this industrial location with terrace and beautiful views of the inner harbour and factories, two companions, Jasper and Jeroen, realised their dream in 2015: brewing typical Hague beers. Absolutely recommended for beer lovers and anyone looking for a typical Hague insider tip!

Discover the neighbours: Voorburg and Rijswijk
Besides its restaurants and street art, Binckhorst has much more to offer. For instance, you can enjoy a lovely walk along the banks of the Vliet and Trekvliet rivers. Binckhorst borders Voorburg and Rijswijk. If you are on a bike, you can go straight to the Herenstraat: a nice, authentic shopping street in Voorburg. Here you will also find Huygens' Hofwijck: a beautifully preserved seventeenth-century house. Definitely worth a visit!
