Calla's - Laan van Roos en Doorn 51a

Restaurant Calla's was named after the Calla flower, which is of Mexican origin and is also the Greek word for 'beautiful'. This restaurant is housed in a 19th-century building at Laan van Roos en Doorn, a small street between the charming Denneweg and Koninginnegracht. Rewarded by the Michelin Guide with a Michelin star: "A memorable meal awaits you here; sober and deliciously refined."

Zheng - Prinsestraat 33

Zheng is a new restaurant at the location which used to house the Chinese-French fusion restaurant HanTing Cuisine, run by Chef Han Ji and hostess Ting Ji. Everything at Zheng evolves around the age-old Chinese rituals, art, culture and health. Here you will discover the tradition of the four main Chinese cuisines with a wealth of flavours! 

Tapisco - Kneuterdijk 11

The beautiful building housed bookshop De Vijf Vocalen for some 300 years. Tapisco has now been here for several years. Tapas, petiscos, cocktails, Spanish and Portuguese wines ... these are the ingredients for a delicious lunch or dinner! 

Restaurant ñ - Nobelstraat 22

Oysters, piemientos de Padrón, Spanish cheeses and iberico ham ... At restaurant ñ you can choose from the most delicious Spanish and Mediterranean dishes. The small square with the yellow facade of the restaurant and the cozy lighting in the trees add to the atmosphere. And this fine restaurant has also been awarded a Bib Gourmand by Michelin in 2023!

6&24 - Nobelstraat 13 

Around the corner from restaurant ñ is 6&24: a unique restaurant operating at a spectacular level. A restaurant with passion and love for food, wine and hospitality. The most important thing is you as a guest. It is all about the total experience and what hospitality has to offer. The atmosphere is homely and relaxing and they cook at a high level with top quality products.

Oogst - Denneweg 10B

At Restaurant Oogst on the Denneweg, you can choose from a variety of small dishes that change regularly and are tailored to the season. Many ingredients come from the restaurant's own vegetable and herb garden. From the harvest, you compose your own menu for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is also called Calla's bistro/brasserie. 

Catch by Simonis - Dr. Lelykade 43

Catch by Simonis is located right beside the water in the Second Inner Harbour and boasts a fantastic view of the yacht harbour and sea. Enjoy top quality fresh fish here. Tip: you can enjoy the sun and the best view all day long on the terrace of the top floor of the restaurant.

Waterproef - Dr. Lelykade 25-27

Located at the heart of the Scheveningen marina you will find one of the best restaurants in The Hague: Waterproef. Thanks to the refined French cuisine with Mediterranean and Asian influences, the award-winning wine list, the informal service and the fabulous location, Waterproef is regularly tipped in various dining guides. 

Bøg - Prinsestraat 130 

New Nordic Cuisine combines the open, freethinking Danish culture and the natural power and purity of the North. At Bøg you will enjoy special, simplistic dishes and maybe just a little different than you are used to. You can choose from a 5-course meat & fish menu or a vegetarian menu. New Nordic Cuisine at a high level!

Publique - Anna Paulownaplein 4

On this beautiful square in The Hague's Zeeheldenkwartier you will find Publique. This restaurant is known for its dishes with French and Mediterranean influences, delicious wines and fine atmosphere. Not for nothing that it was awarded a Bib Gourmand by Michelin in 2023! When the weather is fine, sit out on the terrace on the lively Anna Paulownaplein.

Basaal - Dunne Bierkade 3

Basaal (Bib Gourmand 2023) is located on the Dunne Bierkade, one of the most beautiful canals in the centre of The Hague. The full à la carte offer and attractive wine list complete the picture. The menu is composed with an eye for detail and combines seasonal ingredients into tasty dishes that excite the senses. 

Villa Coucou - Laan van Meedervoort 6

Imagine yourself in a French atmosphere at Villa Coucou! The beautiful building, the sunny spacious garden and of course the delicious French dishes from La Cuisine d'Alexandre. The entire atmosphere, including the staff, breathes Paris. Take a seat in Franky's bar for a cocktail and don't forget to take a look downstairs. You end up in a wine cellar where you can play a game of petanque!

Triptyque - Plein 13G Wateringen

Although restaurant Triptyque is located in Wateringen (between Delft and The Hague), it should definitely not be missed in this article! In 2023, the restaurant was awarded a Green Michelin star, making it a figurehead of sustainable gastronomy. Everything in this special restaurant revolves around sustainability. For instance, it works a lot with the finest local products from the Westland region.
 

Central Park - Oosteinde 14 Voorburg 

As with the previous restaurant, we take a little trip outside The Hague. This time to Voorburg for restaurant Central Park. Awarded a Michelin star in 2023, the highest recognition by the renowned Michelin Guide. Located in a green park surrounded by lush nature, this gourmet establishment offers a unique experience for foodies. You can stay overnight in the beautiful boutique hotel, or ideal to combine with a weekend in The Hague.
