Royal Winter in the city centre
Experience The Hague Highlights: 'Colour the City'
It's time again for The Hague Highlights, the high-profile light event. This time, the spotlight focuses on the beautiful museum Escher in the Palace, located in the heart of the Museum Quarter. A unique experience awaits, as not one, but hundreds of artists enchant the facade of museum Escher in Het Paleis with a stunning light show called 'Colour the City' (Kleur de Stad). From Wednesday 24 January to Saturday 10 February 2024, the city will come alive with this enchanting work of light art.
Fifteen artists will have the opportunity to create a one-minute animation each, which will then be impressively projected on the façade of Escher in Het Paleis. Residents could also submit their own colouring pictures. Who knows, maybe you will admire your own work during The Hague Highlights.
