WinterWonderSand by the Sea
Admire the sand sculptures made of as much as 500 tonnes of sand and see how the works of art are created on Scheveningen beach. The beautiful sand sculptures can be seen from 1 November until 31 January 2025 and is part of Cool Event. Besides the CoolEvent ice rink, you can take a look at Winter Wonderzand, an enchanting exhibition of sand sculptures inspired by the art and culture of The Hague and Scheveningen. This event offers a sustainable alternative to ice sculptures and is a fun family outing for young and old.
What to expect. Be surprised by sand sculptures that bring to life iconic buildings and landmarks of our region, created by 12 talented artists from across Europe under the direction of Martin de Zoete.
