As presenter of the radio programme 'Christmas in the Air', Pauline is in complete control, but despite her star status, the single mother is above all lonely. Her daughter has emigrated to Bali and her busy work schedule means she has few real friends. When Pauline receives bad news just before Christmas, she decides to make a drastic change. With the help of flight attendant Claire, she does everything she can to overcome her fear of flying, visit her daughter and then travel to Las Vegas for the Christmas concert of their favourite singer, Billie Sky Camden. During this wonderful journey, she not only meets a new man, but also discovers the warmth of friendship and family. It will be a journey that will change everyone's lives forever.
