Live music featuring the greatest disco classics
The orchestra takes you back to the disco era of the 1970s and 1980s. During the show, the greatest hits come to life, with songs by artists such as Donna Summer, Barry White, Earth, Wind and Fire, and Kool and the Gang. Expect an evening full of glitter, energy, and that recognisable disco vibe that immediately gets the audience moving.
Unique orchestra with thirty top musicians
Discophonic Orchestra was founded in 2014 by jazz trombonist and arranger Lex van Wel. His love for the rich orchestral and rhythmic disco sound forms the basis of this special ensemble. The orchestra consists of thirty musicians, including ten string players, six wind players, a solid rhythm section and seven powerful vocalists. Together, they impressively bring the iconic music style of the disco era back to the stage.
