One of Shakespeare's most famous tragedies, Macbeth, is coming to the big screen. Tony and BAFTA winner Ralph Fiennes (Antony & Cleopatra, Schindler's List, Coriolanus) and Olivier Award-winner Indira Varma (Present Laughter, Game of Thrones, Luther) star in a brand new production of William Shakespeare's Macbeth.
The play, directed by Simon Godwin (Antony & Cleopatra, Romeo & Juliet, Hansard) and with set and costume design by Frankie Bradshaw (Jerusalem, Blues for an Alabama Sky), will be recorded live for cinema screening at Dock X, a warehouse converted into a theatre in London. The live recording brings the audience even closer to the drama and characters of this press-acclaimed performance.
