Hug the Tea in The Hague is organizing a workshop where you can make your own Daifuku mochi!

During the workshop, you will first be given a demonstration about matcha and served a Daifuku mochi with Japanese tea or matcha. While enjoying this delicious combination, you will be introduced to the world of Daifuku Mochi. Step by step, you will be guided through the process of how Daifuku Mochi is made, and then it will be your turn to try it yourself!

At the end of the workshop, you will make 4 Daifuku Mochi to take home in a box; perfect as a gift for your loved ones! During the session, Hug the Tea will serve various types of Japanese tea.

Important information

In this workshop, you will not be making Anko (sweet red bean paste). Hug The Tea will provide their homemade Anko for the workshop.
It is recommended that you bring an apron to prevent powder from getting on your clothes.
Workshop price: €70 per person (includes matcha demonstration, mochi workshop, tea, and four mochi to take home)
