Paardcafé: Hard & Heavy
PAARD presents a new edition of Paardcafé: Hard & Heavy on Saturday 5 September 2026 at the Paardcafé in The Hague. Three emerging metal bands deliver an evening of heavy sounds, live intensity and dark atmosphere.
The Paardcafé becomes the stage for three bands that each explore the heavier end of the musical spectrum in their own way. No mainstream sounds here, just bands that are still developing their sound and make that clear from the first note.
NEBELSTØRM, PROPHECY OF ASAG and SAYAS in The Hague
NEBELSTØRM started in 2025 with three members who share a fascination for misty landscapes and introspective darkness. Their music moves between relentlessly heavy and ethereally melancholic, a combination that defines atmospheric black metal at its most compelling. PROPHECY OF ASAG comes from Arnhem and brings together musicians from a variety of genres and bands. The line-up, featuring drums, vocals, two guitars and bass, is currently working on a debut album. The band has already performed at multiple venues across the Netherlands. SAYAS started out as a side project in Enschede and, after a period of searching for the right line-up, found its footing again.
Paardcafé: a stage for heavy and emerging talent
The Paardcafé: Hard & Heavy concert series is specifically designed to showcase bands that haven't yet reached the big stages, but already have the energy and skill to make an impact. The Paardcafé's intimate setting makes the experience direct and powerful. Entry is free, so you can just walk in and see what these three bands are all about.
