Visitors at interactive art installations during Royal Surfclub at Grey Space in the Middle

As part of The Hague's Club Hopping x Cultuurnacht 2026, Royal Surfclub organises a one-off multidisciplinary programme at Grey Space in the Middle. Artist, curator and DJ Berk Duygun brings together interactive art, experimental technology, underground music and independent fashion into a single night.

Royal Surfclub turns Grey Space in the Middle on 5 September into a living environment connecting two worlds. Upstairs, an interactive exhibition runs all night; downstairs, a basement club programme keeps going until 05:00, both layers equally central to the experience.

The show brings together four artists: Raz van Isaak, Cemre Kara, Esther de Bruin (Alyster) and Berk Duygun. Their works span experimental games, digital environments, sensory experiences and interactive inventions, all exploring new ways of connecting people through play, technology and participation. You're not a passive viewer here, you're part of the work itself. Independent sellers are also present between the installations.

Underground club night in The Hague

In the basement of Grey Space, Royal Surfclub presents a carefully curated music programme with Lewie, Teach, Tyrone, BäRK (Berk Duygun) and SENAIDA, artists and curators rooted in The Hague's nightlife scene and international underground culture. The programme runs from 23:00 to 05:00.
