Design Passage
28 Nov - 30 Nov
Festivals
During Design Passage, meet the designers of the moment and discover the extraordinary things they make, above The Hague's most beautiful gallery!
Discover national and international design talent
The last weekend of November is a highlight for design enthusiasts. During Design Passage 2025, the former telephone exchange building of the Hague Telephone Service is transformed into a vibrant department store full of creativity and design. In this impressive industrial monument, close to the centre of The Hague, around fifty designers, labels and makers from the Netherlands and abroad present their most striking work.
Visitors will discover innovative Dutch design alongside creations by international design talent. Spread over two floors, you will find an inspiring mix of furniture, graphic statements, textiles, jewellery and experimental lighting design. Design Passage is the place to meet designers in person, hear their stories and take home something special, just in time for the festive season.
A world of creativity in The Hague
The design world is optimistic, diverse and full of international influences. The Netherlands is home to many creative makers with roots in other countries. This cultural richness is also clearly evident during Design Passage 2025. As with the previous edition in 2023, various embassies, including those of Bangladesh, Brazil, Greece, Malta and Kosovo, will provide a platform for talent from their countries. This makes the cultural experience of the event even more surprising and diverse.
Meet the designers
Among the participants you will find well-known names and innovative creators such as Kukka, René Knip, Aptum, Kars en Boom, Mimi Berlin, Vij5, Saudade Collective, Inge Simonis, Lambert Kamps and Ikonic, along with many others.
