About the performance

Inspired by the female resistance of the Woman, Life, Freedom movement in Iran, it reveals moments of vulnerability and resilience in the quest for freedom. A special collaboration between two female poets who create groundbreaking art based on their Iranian roots and their view of the world.

In Beyond The Triangle, we take our seats in a space filled with the voices of Iranian female poets from different generations, enveloped by a layer of singing, percussion, cello, electronic music, field recordings and dance. Poetry becomes sound, sound becomes movement and movement becomes memory. Beyond The Triangle is raw and refined, but above all, it is an opportunity to experience this performance in your own way and find other forms of resistance in art. For is that not the ultimate form of freedom and connection?
