Prologue - Too Much To Swallow (2025) is a 108-minute single-shot slow-motion video in which the artist Pip Greenaway stands motionless in the rain.
As cold water runs down her face, subtle signs of physical discomfort gradually become apparent. At first, the scene evokes the hyper-real imagery of advertising, aesthetically crafted through the use of liquid, light and slow motion to stir up desire. However, as the rain grows heavier, the atmosphere shifts from allure to discomfort.
