Snowfest The Hague
From 6 to 8 December 2024, the Koekamp in The Hague will be the place to be where all the spotlights will be on freestyle action and winter sports in all its facets for three days.
Rock a Rail
Highlights include the 10th anniversary edition of the Rock A Rail snowboard competition on Saturday, which finally returns to the place where it all began, now as part of SnowFest. This unique snowboard event, can rightly be called special because of its location and the high level of national and international riders.
Urban- or street snowboarding is a form of snowboarding in which snowboarders (riders) use elements from the city to snowboard. Think stairs, railings, walls, fences and pavements. Street snowboarding is a discipline underlying Olympic slopestyle snowboarding, which combines rails and ramps.
DownTown StreetSki Session
A day ahead of the snowboarders, their friends on two boards will be in the spotlight for the DownTown StreetSki session. A first for The Hague, but certainly a spectacular one, as the freeskiers will perform their craziest tricks on the creative playground offered to them in the middle of the city.
Wintersports Village
As part of SnowFest, there will be a Winter Sports Village in The Hague for the first time. Local clubs and associations will also be there, including the Eischnelllaufers. Also, De Uithof profiles itself, the first point of contact for winter sports enthusiasts in the country. Come along, discover, get to know and try it out!
