In December, the Koekamp in The Hague is the place to be, where all eyes are on freestyle action and winter sports in all their forms for three days. Previously held on the Grote Markt, this is the second year it will be held at the Koekamp. This spacious location directly opposite Central Station ensures that even more enthusiasts can enjoy this unique winter sports spectacle.

Rock a Rail

Highlights include the Rock A Rail snowboard competition, which returns to its original location on Saturday as part of SnowFest. This unique event stands out thanks to its special location and the high calibre of national and international riders.

Urban snowboarding makes use of urban elements such as stairs, railings and walls. This discipline forms the basis of Olympic slopestyle snowboarding.

The Hague is the last stop on the Rock A Rail tour, after Thun (Switzerland) and Innsbruck (Austria). A spectacular show featuring top freeskiers and snowboarders is guaranteed.

DownTown StreetSki Session

One day before the snowboarders, their friends will be in the spotlight on two boards for the DownTown StreetSki session. This is a first for The Hague, and a spectacular one at that, as the freeskiers will be performing their craziest tricks on the creative playground provided for them in the middle of the city.
