The Music of Harry Potter Live
From the very first note, the soundtracks of the Harry Potter films are enchanting. Hedwig's Theme, the famous, twinkling melody that begins almost every Harry Potter film, immediately immerses you in his magical adventures. In December 2025, the best music from all the Harry Potter films will return to The Hague
Composers
J.K. Rowling's novels tell the legendary story of wizard apprentice Harry Potter and his friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. Between 2001 and 2011, the books were adapted into films, starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson in the leading roles. John Williams composed the soundtrack for the first three Harry Potter films: Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002), and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004). Williams is one of the greatest film music composers of all time and wrote the music for Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan, Star Wars, ET, Jaws, and Schindler’s List, among others. Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper, and Alexandre Desplat composed the soundtracks for the other five films. The show lasts approximately 110 minutes and includes an intermission.
