A Pelo tells the poignant story that serves as the prequel to Fernando’s award-winning show *We play so hard it hurts*. In *A Pelo*, two bodies find themselves trapped, but whilst one tries to escape, the other becomes the jailer. On stage, we see a whole spectrum of male intimacy unfold: from violence to tenderness. But what happens when the only way out of captivity lies within each other?

This performance isn’t here to please you, but to take hold of you. Until nothing remains but skin, breath and exhaustion. With *A Pelo*, Pelo Productions once again aims to add a non-normative story to the cultural landscape, even if this may sometimes be a tad uncomfortable for the audience.
