Discover how Johann Sebastian Bach’s music sounds on the recorder and harpsichord. Ensemble Zagara will perform well-known compositions by Bach during the ‘Young Talent’ concert series on a historic stage at the Huygens Museum.

Bach’s music for recorder and harpsichord

What does Johann Sebastian Bach’s music sound like when played on different instruments? During the ‘Young Talent on an Old Stage’ concert series at the Huygens Museum, the Zagara ensemble will demonstrate this.

Recorder player Kalli Toater and harpsichordist Daniela López Quesada perform works by Bach that were originally written for various instruments and ensembles. The recorder takes centre stage in these performances.

Ensemble Zagara specialises in early music. The ensemble explores how the choice of instruments and the way they are played influence the experience of music.
