KABK Graduation Show 2024
A new generation of artists and designers will showcase their work during the annual Graduation Show of the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague (KABK). The show will take place from Thursday 27 June to Tuesday 2 July 2024. Weave your way through the labyrinthine corridors of the academy and check out a tangle of art and design works. Entrance is free, but booking a ticket is required.

This year, more than 220 graduates from all over the world will be presenting their work. This is no ordinary exhibition; you will find a myriad of artistic expressions including performances, illustrations, graphic design, installations, photography, film, painting and sound art. Graduates from all kinds of disciplines will showcase their projects.
During the Graduation Show, the student's craftmanship becomes true art or design piece; it becomes a painting, installation or a photo series. The show celebrates diversity and embraces the creative individual with all its dreams and vulnerability. In this diversity, there are common grounds in which the different individuals find each other: all graduates have an inquisitive, creative and self-aware mindset. Let their projects amaze you.
The Graduation Show is a reflection of the personal and collective experience of the graduates during their time at the academy. With their work, the graduates show how they view the outside world, respond to it and position themselves. In the projects that bachelor, master and PhD students create, you will find many reflections on topics that are current in society. Themes that come up are, for example, identity, climate change and artificial intelligence.
The building is accessible via two entrances:
- Prinsessegracht 4, 2514 AN, The Hague (direct entrance to presentations by bachelor students) and
- Bleijenburg 38, 2511 VD, The Hague (direct entrance to presentations by master students).
