Mouflon + Canyon Literature + Arteria + Stilte
Musicon in The Hague hosts a night of heavy metal featuring four acts: Mouflon, Canyon Literature, Arteria and Stilte. Expect death metal, doom, deathcore and everything in between, from opening act to headliner.
Four bands, one night, no compromises. This concert brings together a selection from the heavier end of the Dutch metal scene at Musicon. The evening is built around volume, energy and the raw power that only live heavy metal can deliver.
Mouflon and Canyon Literature at Musicon, The Hague
Headliner Mouflon has been active since 2012, combining death and doom metal into a colossal sound. The band released albums in 2018 (Devastations) and 2022 (Pure Filth), followed by the singles Grim Fate and BOCC in 2024. Their third album, Eros and Thanatos, is set to arrive in 2026. The new material focuses on slow, dragging passages punctuated by sudden bursts of speed, heavy drums and lyrics that probe the darker aspects of human nature. Live, it translates into a relentless wall of sound.
Canyon Literature takes a different approach. The Dutch deathcore band throws slam, technical metal and core elements together in a way that feels chaotic but lands with precision. Their EP Necrodementia gives a solid preview of what to expect live: compact, frantic and aimed at maximum impact.
Arteria and Stilte complete the line-up
Arteria and Stilte round out the evening. Together with the other two bands, they form a programme broad enough to satisfy fans of various subgenres within extreme metal. Doors at Musicon open at 19:00, the show starts at 19:30 and runs until 23:00.
