Are you interested in art and would you like to get in touch with artists in a casual atmosphere? Then come to the Open Ateliers at 6 and 7 of June in the Duinoord, Zeeheldenkwartier and Regentessekwartier districts.
A unique look into the studios of creative makers
Be surprised by the work of painters, draftsmen, etchers, sculptors, photographers, jewelry makers, ceramists, textile and glass artists. With many of the artists you can also see in their studio how the work is made and thus get an insight into the daily life of the artist. You can talk to the artists about their work and admire their work. And of course it is also possible to purchase a work of art directly from the artist. You are warmly invited to visit 41 artists at a wide range of venues on the weekend of 6 and 7 June, from 12:00 to 18:00.
Overview exhibition
Would you like to get a sneak preview of what’s on offer during the Open Ateliers weekend in The Hague? Then visit the retrospective exhibition on weekdays at Makelaardij / Art Gallery Koenders at 164 2e Schuytstraat, on the corner of Reinkenstraat.
From Friday 29 May to Tuesday 16 June, you can admire work by all participating artists here. From 29 May, you can also pick up or download the Open Ateliers weekend brochure at this location. The brochure contains all the information about the artists, studios and participating venues.
During the Open Studios weekend, the retrospective exhibition will also be open from 12.00 to 18.00. Thanks to Art Gallery Koenders’ central location, this is the ideal starting point for a walk or cycle along the studios in The Hague.
